A session entitled “Prehistoric Textile Tool Kits: From the Baltic to the Mediterranean” has been held during the 7th Scientific Conference of the Faculty of Archaeology at the University of Warsaw on the 13. April 2026 entitled „The Past has a Future“.
Welcome were contributions exploring textile tool kits in their full technological and contextual diversity, including tools made of bone and other organic materials.

The session was organised by Katarzyna Żebrowska, Kinga Winnicka, Monika Kaczmarek and Agata Ulanowska (Faculty of Archaeology, University of Warsaw), Magdalena Przymorska-Sztuczka (Archaeological Museum in Biskupin) and Gerasimoula Ioanna Nikolovieni (Joukowsky Institute for Archaeology and the Ancient World, Brown University).
